In this video I'm testing the Ryzen 5 3600 vs the Ryzen 5 4500 vs the Ryzen 5 5600 in different games like Fortnite, Warzone and Cyberpunk. The Ryzen 5 3600 is already almost 4 years old, but it still holds up pretty good, even in recent games. The Ryzen 5 3600 has 6 cores and 12 threads, has a TDP of 65W, has a frequency of 3.6 GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.2 GHz. The Ryzen 5 4500 came out in 2022, it has 6 cores, 12 threads and has a base clock of 3.6GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.1GHz. The R5 5600X has a TDP of 65W and is made with Zen 2 architecture. The R5 5500 has a TDP of 65W and is made with Zen 3 architecture. The Ryzen 5 5600 came out in early 2022, it has 6 cores, 12 threads and has a base clock of 3.5GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.4GHz.

Since AM4 will become to EBay what X-99 has become to Ali Express, I think the performance of the R5 4500 becomes more relevant. All those professional reviewers criticized and slammed both the chip for its performance, and AMD for releasing it, and yet, every comparison video I have watched featuring the 4500 vs other, supposed superior CPUs, the 4500 holds its own, and in some cases beats the 3600. AMD may have unintentionally hit the jackpot with its cheapest 6c/12t offering with very affordable motherboards, giving people a modern build that would theoretically have a small upgrade path.

i think ill stay with my 3600 for a while, if they release a new one with lower power consumption. ill get it.
btw can you build like a town and modify the landscape in valheim? 9000+ instances makes my 4790 cry. around 70+ i think.... fps on my 3600.
