Recently got my hands on a 5600x runs cool even with the stock cooler, sadly no new gpu for me as the second hand and new are both a dumbsterfire right now

I've always known that NFS Heat was badly optimized (experience from a Ryzen 5 1600 + RX 5600 XT combo), but I didn't know it was THAT bad, even with a Ryzen 5 5600X... How the heck did Ghost Games achieve this with Frostbite 3?

Zen 2 AND Zen 3 are 12nm for IO chiplet and 7nm for cores chiplets.

Man i want to build a PC and i have all the parts except the Motherboard
And i have LG 27GN950 4k 144hz monitor but i researched a little bit and found out i need a display port 1.4 to play at 4k 144hz
and now i want to ask you do i also need a motherboard supporting display port 1.4 as all the MB i have seen so far only have display port 1.2 support

will the display port 1.4 work on display port 1.2 Motherboard if not please suggest a motherboard with display port 1.4 support

I got a deal with Micro Center nearby that I can trade in my 5 3600 for an up line chip and just pay the difference. Upgrading to the 5 5600X, which is $299 now, would only cost $85. I think maybe I should do it. I have an X570 mb. I'm glad you showed voltage.

I have a R5 3600 @ 4.2 Ghz (1.26v) paired with 16gb ram @ 3733 Mhz CL16 amd I love rhe performance..unfortunately AMD disappointed me and won't release a BIOS for my X370 mb..I'll be stuck with my R5 3600 for a long time haha (not a problem at all, it's an insane CPU)

i forgot to add in my comment . if you do a video on cpu ryzen under volting video, can you explain if we should look out for cpu temp or cpu package temp. my cpu package is at 94c when doing a handbrake conversion and that seems to hot for me. the cpu is at 85c or so

Question for you, if you've got the X570 motherboard and you're looking at 3600X/6800XT or a 5600X/6800 would you spend the extra $ on the cpu or the gpu (they seem to have a similar price premium)
