This is How Much Car Prices Dropped – Mclaren 570S | Porsche Cayman | Ferrari F430
Показать описание
If you are wondering how much car prices dropped in the last 3 to six months, then this is the video to watch. I will namely show you exactly how the prices and depreciation curves moved for the McLaren 570S, Porsche Cayman 718, and Ferrari F430 market. The result might surprise now.
A lot of talk is going on about the current movements in the car prices. Are prices decreasing? Will the market crash? Or will it rally ? There are many ways to investigate this and you can then also find many different views about the future of car prices. This video I, however, focused on the view most familiar to me, a data-driven view. We will namely systematically analyse the Mclaren 570S, Ferrari F430, and Porsche Cayman 718 market and figure out how the prices and depreciation curves changed. For each market the video is split into two parts, the first part focuses on the changes in the prices while the second part focuses on the changes in the depreciation curve.
There are big differences in the price changes between the markets. All markets, however, show changes which are in line with the expectation. Based on the previous depreciation curves, the decrease in prices is namely normal. As of today, there is then also no market crash visible in the prices.
However, there are some reasons which one can think of as to why no crash is visible. First, it might be too soon. Second, we are looking to aggregate car prices. Third, we are looking at the advertised prices which might not reflect the changes.
