Oris, Longines and Christopher Ward are brilliant recommendations.

Mine was a Longines Master Collection Chrono/Full Calendar/Moonphase.
Longines give astounding value for money from a long established, well respected, under-the-radar brand.

My first luxury watch was a used Omega Speedmaster 3513. I got it shortly after graduating college in 2017. I paid about $1500 for it, and it has been a part of my collection ever since. Great list, there were a few there that I didn’t think about!

The CW C65 Aquitaine Bronze is a good shout. Had no idea about it so a good shout - looks great and COSC certified!

Great to see you guys have caught on to Christopher Ward & the value that they provide across the full range of their watches. As a company they deserve huge praise in their push to become one of the go to brands for that first & subsequent purchase of luxury watches. They do so with excellent build quality & great use of dial colour & strap combinations.

Nomos club will be my first luxury watch 😊

The Tissot PRX really is such a solid choice here and can rightfully be considered entry level luxury - the fit & finish, use of materials and overall panache is amazing at the price

Additional brands worth your consideration IMO are Frederique Constant, Maurice Lacroix, Bulova, Cartier, Nomos, Sinn, and Zodiac. My first Swiss luxury watch was the Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80.

My first luxury watch was a Longines Conquest in Black. Love that watch so much

Love that Longines! Rare enough to stand out from the crowd, and it looks like it cost twice what it does.
Tissot was my first "luxury" watch as well - the PRX was a bit too chunky for my taste, and I ended up selecting the Gentleman model -- one of the most undervalued/under-rated watches on the market.

Just ordered my Nomos Tangente 35 as my graduation watch :)

Tom, you’re stepping up your game. Some really good analysts and down right funny comments. These videos make me want to go shopping every morning when I wake up. Thanks

Mine was a Tudor BB58. Still own it & always will. Continues to be a fave in the collection despite adding many more pieces. Also own the GS in the video. Gorgeous dark blue dial & 9F means it’s a grab & go! 👍🏻

My first “luxury” watch was a Tissot Visodate a few years ago. My current daily driver is a Christopher Ward C63 Sealander, which I wear far more than my Omega Aqua Terra. Great watch!

I don't own a luxury watch yet but what I do have is a brilliant Mido GMT, it's a dive/sports watch that looks just as good in the water or on a field as it does in a suite and tie.

I just moved up from microbrands and bought the Hamilton Cooper watch and it's honestly amazing for the price. Feel like there hasn't been a compromise anywhere and also quite cheap compared to other brands.

Great list fellas 👍

My first luxury watch was the Oris Big Crown ProPilot. Given my relatively modest watch budget it represented quite a substantial leap from the just over £300 I’d previously spent on my most expensive watch at the time but it’s proven to have been well worth it. I’ve since added an Oris Aquis to my collection but the ProPilot is absolutely my go to watch for anything and everything other than activities that require a beater.

I was never really into watches til last month, I was just strolling inside a mall and just for the heck of it, I entered a Tag Heuer Boutique. The salesperson there allowed to try on some of the displays and something in me fell in love with watches. I almost bought coz of impulse a Carrera Calibre 5 grey dial. Good thing I got back to my senses and decided to check other options and reviews. After a month of watching youtube watch influencers, entering other boutiques and trying on some watches, I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first ever entry level luxury watch few days ago..
Longines Spirit 40mm Sunray Blue Dial.. 😊

The quiet precise ticks of the 9F movement is as beautiful as any sweep of a mechanical movement.

I will die on this hill.

Love the montblanc star legacy shoutout, which was my first luxury timepiece, and which I’ll never get rid of!
