Vivian Lyra Blair, the little girl who played Leia, just NAILED the performance. I cannot even _begin_ to gush about how awesome she was and how much she channeled Carrie Fisher. And even better, Carrie Fisher is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. About damned time!

1:55 - In case you missed it, that was Teumora Morrison playing a "random" clone from Anakin's 501st Legion. The same actor who played all of the clones, as well as Jango Fett and Boba Fett. While it's not confirmed, there's a pretty good chance that Obi-Wan recognized the pattern on the armour as being from the 501st, but donated a few credits anyway, likely to seem like a random passerby rather than someone the Clones betrayed a decade earlier.
10:30 - OH! While I'm thinking of each episode of this series has some kind of "theme" (part of the story) that references the corresponding movie of the original 6 movies. So, "Part 1" would relate to Episode I, Part 2 (this one) relates to Episode II, Part 3 relates to Episode III, and so on.

Those are the lines they had to write around. Fortunately, they're pretty vague lol.

I don't think it was ever public knowledge that Anakin Skywalker was christened as the Sith Lord Darth Vader, and by the time most anyone else had seen or heard of "Darth Vader" he was in the black suit, was taller and sounded completely different. Even Padme and Obi-Wan called him Anakin during their duel on Mustafar.

Princess Leia was short in episode 4 onward, she was 5 feet tall. So it makes sense she would be a small 10 year old girl.

I think Leia running worked a lot better in this episode, even if it was still a bit silly. She was constantly using her size to her advantage and Obi-wan had to take longer routes to try and cut her off, then when there was a straight run on the rooftops he ended up being shot at before he could catch up to her. Even the moment where Obi-wan should have caught her makes a little sense because he's trying not to be aggressive and didn't want to just grab her, he was trying to reason with her. In the first episode there was just no excuses

Verowak, Vader and Obi-Wan did indeed exchange words in A New Hope, and the Obi-Wan series creator Deborah Chow made sure to link her show to the movie. The whole thing in A New Hope goes, "I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again at last. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master." "Only a master of evil, *Darth."* Then there was this exchange: "Your powers are weak, old man." "You can't win, *Darth.* If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." The last thing said by Vader is, "You should not have come back."

As someone else already mentioned, short of a few people, no one knew the real identity of Darth Vader. It's doubtful that Senator Organa would have known....and he was the only outside connection we're aware of that Kenobi had (and even with him, he hadn't spoken to since he started his vigil as Luke's guardian angel).

Regarding Kenobi being out of touch and practice. He suppressed his use of the Force so as to avoid bringing attention to himself, less his identity is compromised (to the benefit of the Empire, and their Inquisitors tasked with hunting down the Jedi....especially leaders with Kenobi and Yoda). Furthermore, this would endanger Luke Skywalker, since he was entrusted to keep him safely hidden.

He was lucky to save Leia's life...but it does show how weak his once masterful control of the Force has become.

Leia and running away from adults: 1) I couldn't blame her for not trusting a person she doesn't recall ever meeting. Stranger-Danger. 2) Kids aren't that easy to catch. I remember my oldest, when he was like 5 or 6. We were in the emergency room, and he needed shots. Needless to say, he broke away from the exam room and it took a few minutes between myself, the wife, and a couple of the nurses on duty, to eventually catch him.

The teen attempting to sell drugs to Kenobi is Ewan McGregor's daughter, Esther-Rose. She is the 3rd generation of family to have been a part of the Star Wars franchise. Beside her, and her father, there is also Ewan's uncle, Denis Lawson. He played the longtime friend of Luke Skywalker, and arguably the best pilot in the Rebellion/New Republic/Resistance, Wedge Antilles (featured in A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker...and voiced by another person in Star Wars: Rebels).

People from Alderaan, even the children, when they run, it creates a disturbance of the gravity in their wake, thus making them virtually unchasable.

People claim to take objection with the writing in this show, but it was really clever to write Haja's "mind trick" lines in a way that the audience knows immediately that he's faking it. And have you ever tried to run after a little kid who's determined to get away from you? Not as easy as it looks. The best bit of writing though was when we FINALLY see Obi-Wan use the Force and we see how difficult it is for him to simply levitate a small girl. We see how out of practice he is and how much of a challenge this whole ordeal is for him after all these years of not using the Force.

The haters just don't know good writing when they see it.

i agree with you on the Leia running it looks very stupid, i think you'd probably like Andor more than this it's definitely more mature, and just a way better show in general. Also just wanted to say been loving the reactions and how ur personality has been coming across!
