Clone Hero really is a great tool for drummers. I've been playing for a long time and have been learning songs by ear for a while. If there is an official Harmonix or Neversoft chart of a song you want to play with other musicians CH can absolutely help (Fan charts be are good but they can be hit or miss). It may not be 1:1 but it'll give you a pretty good idea of how the song goes.

I actually have been using rock band to teach me charts. I should mention to if you buy specific adapters you are allowed to use ekits on rock band as well

Many rockband charts are...well, wrong (beginning of enter sandman), however, it does a good job of just teaching you the fundamentals of a song.

Just bought PS3 Rock Band drums two days ago. I've been planning on downloading Clone Hero for it, that sounds fun

Also try YARG - takes the same charts and songs, but has a tighter hit window and skinned to look like Rock Band instead of Guitar Hero.

I found my ps4 rock and drum kit and got it on my of with Bluetooth - hoping I can run it with clone hero before I get a real ekit!

If you want to take it to the next level, I love Phase Shift. Fewer charts, I think, but I prefer it over CH

Try playing YARG, it has a stricter hit window and supports all Clone Hero songs.

Hey if you like Clone Hero and you free up with RockBand, try YARG, it’s like clone hero but more similar in esthetic to RockBand and has a lot more style to it
