Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video on how long mineral sunscreen is effective on the face? This whole "apply every 2 hours" even when working at a desk (not next to a window) situation seems so extreme. Is there a way to INVESTIGATE how effective a sunscreen still is after 8 hours of normal (non-active) wear? Thank you so much!

I often use European sunscreens by Avene and they generally recommend to use one full finger of their product on face, ears, and on both sides of the neck. For example, they have non white Mineral fluid 40 ml with nano zinc and nano titanium, but if I apply that full finger only on face, the result would be very white skin and it would be very difficult for the product to set in. That is my rule of thumb (and that is limit testing) and that is why I always use SPF 50 plus (ie 60 plus) and If I want a product which is cosmetically more pleasing I choose those with lower water resistance, less photostability etc. That is why brands like eltaMD are so popular (lower SPF, less whiter zinc and not titanium, a mix of zinc and organic filters, lower water resistance etc). On body areas below face and ears, ie on neck, decollete, palms and wrists I always use "kids" or "ultra sensitive" versions.

Bruh I hate to apply sunscreen because we have to use so much of it. Rubbing it in takes so much time and I have to do that every time I go out. Uh I hate it but I still have to do it

What about roll on sunscreens. I have a roll on mineral sunscreen and I’m not always quite sure how much is enough

Why don't people just buy the vichy, la roche, etc, big tubes and use them for the face? They are marketed for the body but honestly a lot of them have little to no difference in ingredients and they are way cheaper...?

Do we need to add an additional 1/4 tsp for our neck?

What about sunscreens that are liquid? Like the Neutrogena spray. That's the one I use.

Do we need to apply 1.25ml in reapplications too or less quantity is used in reapplications?

Yeah I put much more than that, but I also put it on my neck, back of the neck, shoulders, back of shoulders and chest and cleavage area. I probably use like 1 table spoon for all of that. Lol.
