Hi Dimitra! I love your recipes! I tried a lot of them already and thanks most especially for this kataifi sweets. I did it for about 5 times already. I just want to share the heavenly feeling of satisfaction when I pour the cooled syrup in the oven fresh rolls.. the sizzle sound (however we can say it!!!) it makes me remember you on your video. This is really delicious. It doesn't stay long in the fridge!

Please do a video for Greek style  Kadaife Ekmek.
I just tasted this in my favorite Greek pastry shop and it was really delicious.
The baker gave me the Greek recipe in Greek and I had to translate into english for relatives, but if you could please do a video for this recipe we would all appreciate it Dimitra, and thanks in advance.

Dear Tayfun from the comments, you are not well aware, many, many foods, sweets and others are native Greeks, not only Turkeys but many other nations have copied the Greeks

I ordered shredded Kataifi online and it came dry (not refrigerated or frozen). Do I need to dampen it before using it?

I once saw a woman on PBS, boil the kataifi in water as you would do pasta. It seemed to make it easier to work with, because it doesn't clump up.

I cannot find kataifi. If I cut phyllo extremely thin, will that work?
