Before commenting:
1.) I've done these trades in streams before, however you need to search for them. Don't think you'll find it on every server. It takes a few servers and some looking around. This was just a demonstration with my friend.
2.) The Nikilis in the server was a glitch.

I traded my way up from a single common to a chroma, so it is possible to use trades like this to get a good item.

This is a very smart way to help people get their first godly! I started out when shards and metals dropped at the end of rounds, and after I got 20 of them I used them to craft a seer! Though, this does not happen anymore.
