Actually, if you read the medical journals, the medical and scientific communities agree that life BEGINS at conception. While she is correct that we do not know the exact moment that conception occurs, and it will be different for every woman, we DO know when life begins.

This interview completely detracts from the horrors of abortion. The errors from this woman are astounding. Life begins at conception, and abortion doesn’t “solve” any immediate issues. Also, the host attempts to find “common ground” with pro-abortion activists and asks if it’s “acceptable” to use the term “anti-abortion.”🙄

Is it fair to say that we don't really own our bodies and that we only get a loan of a body for certain length of time?

i disagree with the first one. free to make your own choice about what? can you randomly murder a person on the streets? no. why? you are disrupting another person's property aka their body. likewise with abortion, you are taking the life of another person that you have created.

i recognize the the evils of sodomy, oral sex, contraception, and the morning after pill, but would not advocate for making those things illegal because they only affect the parties involved. with abortion, you are involving another person into the equation, a person unable to defend him/herself.

Plan Parenthood lists over 10 different contraceptives and ways to prevent getting pregnant on their web page. At what number are these folks going to accept their responsibility and use them?.

There is nothing "pro-life" about people who would ban abortion by forcing women to give birth. There is particularly nothing pro-life about those who simultaneously work to destroy every public initiative to protect and invest in human life at all levels.

The dishonesty of Catholic Answers is in their insistence on a secular ban on abortion while also demanding an end to public assistance and investment.

Address the issues that lead to abortion.
