For me this is the best live version of this song ever.

Saw Queen 4 times in 80, 82, 84 and 86. I believe Queen were at their peak at The Bowl in 82. Band played with great energy and the atmosphere was electric. This performance of Somebody To Love was Freddie at his masterful best. It then took 20 minutes at Live Aid in 85 to show people just how bloody good they were. Sorely missed ❤

Almost every song he sang at the MK show had unique phrasings and improvs which make the songs memorable, even if they aren't the best versions. If you piece together the backstage interview video, that moment he looks up at the sky before he gets on stage, it's almost like he promises himself he'll just go have a good time, and give his fans one too!

Not entirely sure Somebody To Love was sung out live during their Magic Tour in 1986. I have feeling it would have the best version ever!
Out of all the ones I know this in 1982 is the best live version of the song.
