Holy sh*t, that is the most beautiful I’ve ever heard him sound... and he always sounded perfect. It’s like he was an angel who fell to earth, and we could only have him for a short period of time.

This was Freddie's favorite song 😢

Obviously Freddie was at top form during this performance, but Roger's vocals in this also really stood out. Such a distinctive sound!

Do you think the audience knew in that moment they were seeing the best performance of all time?

There is no other band in the past, present, or likely future that can take a heavily produced heavily vocalized multilayered dubbed song like this, and actually make it better in concert with just a 4 piece band. This is spectacular. Freddie's rhythm, stage presence, and vocals are unmatched. I'm so lucky I got to see basically this same version in 1982 when I got to see them.

I don't know how many times I've watched this version. Timeless

I feel like queen was one of those bands where their live performances were better than their studio recordings. The only thing I dislike about the video is the person recording, I wanted to see all the members faces more, especially John Deacon

Freddie could have been one of the great operatic tenors if he had chosen opera. No other rocker ever came close to his vocal prowess. No one.

In my opinion, one of the best performances in the history of rock!

He simply owns the stage.. I mean no one could ever rock the stage like this and yet sound so hauntingly beautiful! Best live performance of 'Somebody to love' according to me. Even better than Montreal

We miss you Freddie, every day, forever. Awesome song!

At their prime, they never thought of split up.. All of them never greed over success and fame.. Even if fredsie is considered to be the leader of the band, but he himself never claimed it and gave all the credits to everyone of them.. Such an inspiration, unlike other bands nowadays.

Wow! Best front man ever, I saw them live in the 70s and the 80s, my ticket in ‘78 cost £3.50! At Stafford Bingley was 7 weeks pocket money at the time, wish I’d made the effort to see them

They totally nailed this song in Montreal but I like this version better!
