Gone With The Wind - (True) Alternative Ending

Don't watch unless you have the whole beautiful 4 hour film.

this a fan made ending since the original ending stinks and since the film is so epic and amazing it deserved a good ending. Rhett and Scarlett are such a incredible couple (top 5 of all time) and they had to get together and since we don't a chance to see it on screen. This is how in my mind it would have happened. This video shows much Rhett and Scarlett would miss each other and much they need each and eventually find each other at Tara. Rhett forgives her and they live happily ever after.

I really enjoyed your work here. For me, Gone with the Wind’s ending was ambiguous. Did or didn’t she get Rhett back? I think she definitely did. She had grown up and realized what was important. With her tenacity and resilience there is no way she will let him leave her for good.

Sadly, it doesn't work unless there's another 4ish hours of Scarlett changing. No, not her character, and none of that feverish Tara nonsense. She has to realize that acting ladylike preserves genuine human connections which is in her best interest. With Tara occupied by another couple and Ashley mourning the loss of Melanie, she's profoundly lonely and has no one but her children close to her. They're also the only real reason to see Rhett again so when he comes to visit them, she has to demonstrate that she could even love his ward in New Orleans as her own. It would still be up to Rhett to decide if he wanted to risk his heart again with someone who'd already bled him dry. If she ends up in Rhett's arms again, she has to see that she can only be her best, strongest, and happiest self when surrounded by people who love her.

There is no “poor Scarlett” she was a jerk the whole movie and deserved for him to walk out and leave her. She was an ungrateful, selfish, and arrogant woman who deserved to be alone

So gratified to know that the tantalizing and beautiful love story of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler is still drawing in new generations of fans. The film had to end the way it did, but most of us think that after Scarlett went back to Tara to "lick her wounds, " she did think of some way to get him back.
Your depiction of the "reconciliation" of this always "at crossed-purposes couple" was quite clever.
By the way, who are your other four favorite couples? Ilsa and Rick? Jack and Rose?
