Why is it so hard for 1) Republicans to understand that a tariff is a tax on foreign made goods we pay, & 2) Democrats to clearly explain to voters that tariffs hurt us more than other countries?

Tariff tax will cost everyone at least $2500 a year, nothing to the billionaires but for the middleclass, that's a huge expense.
