Pressure is ON. We have our second concrete pour to fill the cinder block walls. Our garden is massive. A taste of summer life in the Scamp (still our full time home).

Aww y’all this video making me a little emotional ngl. It’s so inspiring to see where you’ve come from. I started watching you when it was the scamp and the Mini Cooper, to now y’all building your own home! I am really hoping I can get my own mobile home next year and have some room to spread out outside of my 24ft camper I’ve lived in since 2019. I’ve been saving and hustling to try and make my dream a reality. I am trying to convert a shed on our family land into a cabin to be a little more comfortable through the winter this year, but we shall see. Weather, personal growth, work, and other projects have reduced my available time.

I do have a question. I notice, as the home building progresses, that there are many men involved and you tend to be the only woman around during the work. Are the women in your little community (Doreen, etc) more versed in the home side of things? I'd be like you, loving the mechanics and wanting a hand in every step of the process, all of the learning, so I just wonder where are all the women? 💜
