Notice the fact that he was probably 20 years ahead of his time. He was a consistent shooter from what we call the three point line even before it was established. He influenced magic who influenced every other flashy point guard. He created moves that no one uses anymore due to the difficulty of the move. He created moves no one saw and left judges and casters speachless and their only words were "I've never seen this before." He had the jelly layup, the dream shake and rondo fakes, the long outlet passes even before the terms were even created and he doesn't get his name mentioned in any of them. They shouldn't be called the dream shake and pulling a rondo if there was a creater before that. It's not like he was bad at the move either

One of the very best to ever do it. Am I the only one who feels like he is under appreciated today?

That move at 2:30 where he cups the ball and swings it behind his back and then lays it up has been engrained in my head permately.
He changed basketball forever.

Such incredible memories of this guy. I was raised in NY/NJ and had very little access to his LSU games. But the few times I saw him while in college he as out of this universe. Then the Hawks would be on in our area vs the Knicks quite a bit. I remember him with the New Orleans Jazz as well. One of that all-time greats and a showman.

He played just before the TV era and was way ahead of his time. One of the best showmen of the NBA.

Easily one of the greatest skill sets in history. Dude was making an AND1 mixtape during NBA games.

Guy was just UNBELIEVABLE, a keenly skilled magician making fools out of the opposition at will.

Gotta give it to him, arguably the most skilled player of all time simply because he had no reference point before him

Homie was literally just making all these moves up whether he seen it in the streets or however but nobody was this creative without anything to study from
