I wish real ER doctors were like this. After I lost two family members within 2 weeks, I had a seizure while driving and woke up in my car in the middle of a field. By the time I arrived at the ER I had a severe pain in the right side of my back. I had X-rays done they said it didn’t show anything. But the pain was brutal. I was given 600 mg ibuprofen and released. A month later I’m practically chewing on ibuprofen all day long and the pain is awful and radiating to the right front, under my rib area. So weird for nothing.

Seeing so many people rage over the fact that chase didn't call a nurse in is bizarre to me. There is never a nurse present for exams unless you ask for one to be present. Most doctors offices will have a sign up saying that if u want a chaperone to be present you just simply have to ask. Or they will ask you before the doctor sees you if you would like one present. It kinda sucks but this is the way things are. If u don't want a male doctor looking at you alone. Ask or book with a female doctor instead 🤷‍♀️

Also... THIS IS A TV SHOW. If u expect it to be semi realistic in any form ur a little silly

The dialogue writers on House are still more interested in the FEELING of being smart than in actually being it. In this case they touched on fact. Monastic commitment is one hell of a struggle and can cause symptoms.
