Thanks man; it's nice to know you can turn this on without "hacking" anything. Just one simple UEFI settings change, AND NOW I CAN RUN WINDOWS 11 BABY! Can't wait for it to drop later this year! 👍

Actually IPTT is the TPM module for intel CPUS. For AMD CPUs is called fTPM. So your PC/CPU does have TPM module. It's just implemented via firmware in the CPU.

I wish they never came up with the new security feauture in windows 11.

PTT of Intel is just their branding for built-in TPM2.0, therefore your machine has TPM built-in just different branding.

I was so frustrated trying to figure this out. Then I put it to PTT and it worked. At first I chose dptm and it kept saying it wasn’t compatible. Thanks so much. My headache is over

This actually worked - My motherboard manual says it does not have TPM but has a header for a TPM module. I enabled PTT in the BIOS and now my computer has (or thinks it has) TPM 2.0. Does my motherboard actually have it or not? And the Win 11 compatibility thing says my PC is good for Win 11 now. I'm a life long computer geek, but this is very confusing.

Wow ! so this solves the OTA updates problem but sadly i ain't got this option i my BIOS, its a 2015 model

For me the ptt option was already enabled (there was a option where i could switch it to dtpm).
But still when I run tpm.msi, it says I don't have a tpm... And windows 11 compatibility check report says I can't update.
I checked using ptt and dtpm both. I tried setting the tpm version to 1.2 and 2.0 both.

Would this disabled Hackintosh on the same board? Using dual boot separated drives on a Z490 Vision G board.
