Thank you so much for the tutorial! I upgraded TPM 1.2 to 2.0 successfully on my HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G3 without any issues. It was pretty easy actually. But I'm same as you, only the processor not supported now 🤦🏻‍♂️

Also before attempting to upgrade it, you must update you BIOS version to the latest first & disable virtualization technology to upgrade it successfully without any issues.

Everything worked except the Secure Boot. Instead of "Other OS" I selected "Windows UEFI" and it enabled it. Installing Windows 11 now.

Really, thank you a lot, a lot. I suffered while I was looking for a solution "secure boot",
I had to download an external program to convert storage from MBR to GPT,
But you did a magic job by writing code in command prompt to solve my problem,
once again thank you.

How can I disable the "secure boot" entry in the bios? Because it creates a lot of problems for me and I can't install any operating system. In my bios version 843B vF.43 it's complicated. I'll try to take two photos of what it looks like.

Very helpful. Bad news is that Dell has no upgrade from TPM 1.2 to 2.0 for my model. Also, processor not supported. Even though I can't use Windows 11, it's nice to know why.
