love this! as an Indian Hindu....ish I have always wondered why we have never had a real conversation about the partition.... My grandfather was 10 years old when we were freed. But he never talks of pakistan.

Sorry, can't follow through the story of the partition. My recollection of India as a British colony post WW2 is a nation not yet ready to solve so many of its own internal conflicts.
