Quest 3 UPGRADE + ORION AR GLASSES + PSVR 2 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Meta Connect:
Quest 3S announced $299, basically a quest 2 with upgraded power and mixed reality capabilities and the new controllers and access to all quest 3 games. Discontinued Quest Pro and Quest 2. Base Quest 3 comes with 512 gb. Quest headsets will soon have automatic pairing with windows 11 laptops like vision pro has with imacs.

Batman arkham shadow comes out Oct 22 and is free with a purchase of quest 3 or 3s up until end of april 2025.
Triangle Strategy is being ported to Quest on Oct 31. Supernatural is going to have multiplayer now. Finally Orion glasses are an insight into the state of the AR industry as of right now with a real glasses form factor and a wireless computing puck and a neural interface that is rumored to cost around $10k per unit to manufacture so it isnt for sale yet but the tech all seems to be there with people calling it the first real look at a potential successor to the smartphone.

Sony Playstation State of Play:
The Midnight Walk same developer as Lost in Random looks really cool with VR and flatscreen versions comes out PS5 and steam spring 2025.
We saw another look at Metro Awakening for $40 comes out November 7th. Comes out quest, PS5, and PC looks amazing. People already tried out.
Hitman World of Assassination comes out this december and has VR versions for the trilogy of hitman games and is coming out just on PSVR2 from what I can see and it looks surprisingly good.

i Have been playing Hitman WOA (on PCVR) And cannot see what the issue is. It plays great and is what it is Hitman in VR. I am hoping the dual weild and other improvements they made for PS5 come to PC though. But as it is I am enjoying it. I think people just don't like pressing a button to do certain actions which I get. But really? you can still look around in VR and use the quest touch controllers.
It is totally broken on my PSVR2 and PC adaptor though. on quest 3 i can play high settings and 90 fps on 90 hertz smooth as. but on PSVR2 even on low it stutters like crazy and you character jolts about and it looks like dogshi7. But looks fine on my quest 3. Very strange. I am not buying a Playstation so they had better upgrade the PC version.
