So… Meta just showed everyone what the future of AR glasses can ACTUALLY BE! 👀🤯

Yesterday Meta unveiled a BUNCH of new updates across their lineups including a cheaper Meta Quest 3S, improvements to their Meta RayBans and the coolest of all: The Meta Orion

The Meta Orion is a fully functional pair of AR glasses that project holograms onto transparent lenses that you can interact with in the real world around you… INSANE

Apple obviously has similar ambitions with their Apple Vision Pro offerings but for now? Meta might just be ahead in this race.

Less than 10 years ago you needed a big headset connected to a PC with external trackers. It's hard to understate how impressive it is they were able to shrink everything down to a pair of thick glasses. And it'll only get better from here

i dont get the hate for the Vision Pro. it’s obviously not for everyone. But as someone who works from home in a macbook pro, i could absolutely see the use for having one. i also travel and i really struggle to get a good workflow going when im not at my home setup. but with a Vision Pro i could get that monitor set up im so used to ANYWHERE. i dont intend to buy it bc its expensive as hell but i absolutely see the use of it. and imagine how much better it will be by the time the Vision Pro 3 comes out. i totally understand the vision behind it. pun intended
