[SOLVED] AMD Fix for 1080p 24hz bug on Crysis 2

Показать описание
This is a fix for the Crysis 2 1080P 24hz refresh rate bug.
This typically surfaces after upgrading to v1.9 with the high res textures and dx11. There are lots of fixes out there for nvidia users. You will also see people telling you to set the game to windowed mode in the graphics settings, then restart the game and press alt+enter when the crytek logo comes up. This will give you a full 1080P, BUT i noticed that it will also turn off vsynch on my system (even though it says its on in the graphics settings.)
So here's what I had to do to get the full 1080p without losing vsynch:
1. Start crysis 2 and go to graphics menu choose all of your preferences you like and turn on vsynch. Make sure you set the game to windowed mode and close the program.
2. open the CCC by right clicking on your desktop and selecting Catalyst Control Centre.(if your ccc is set to standard view, then select preferences from the top right and select advanced view)
3. click gaming from the left hand side, then 3d application settings. Then +Add and select your crysis2 exe from the bin32 subfolder in your crysis 2 directory. It may tell you that there are existing profiles. Continue anyway.
4. make sure ALL possible settings for Anti-Aliasing, Texture Filtering and Tesselation are set to 'use application settings'
5. Under frame rate control set 'wait for vertical refresh' to 'Always On' and 'OpenGL triple buffering' to 'On'
6. Save settings and overright any existing Crysis 2 profile.
7. Start Crysis 2 and when the windowed version of the app opens, hit ALT+Enter right away. It will change resolutions a few times and end up on 1080P 60Hz WITH Vsynch!!!
If you do this all above right, you will have a permanently saved cry2 app profile and you just do the alt+enter every time you start it and you will be good to go and it should look awesome!
Good luck!
