#2 but if arthur got a lap dance and his wife believed it was cheating but arthur believed it was NOT cheating, and assumed his wife would think it was ok, then arthur BOTH "is a faithful husband" since he would never do anything he thought hus wife would think was cheating, AND "arthur had an affair while he was married" since he unknowingly violated his wifes trust, therefore it IS an affair.

Even if "having an affair is the definition of unfaithful", arthur did not do that from his own perspective, and since faithfulness is in the mind of the actor, then he isnt unfaithful.

So, whether arthur had an affair changes depending on which persons reality you go by. Reality is not objective.

It is only once these two people come together and share their experience of reality with eachother that the two different realities begin to merge into 1.
