We worked a little harder to afford a Tesla, and are so glad we didn’t compromise.

Fyi, Tesla recently opened a Supercharger station in Bangkok, not too late to change your mind, lol. I’ve been to Thailand, wonderful people and great food. Good choice.

Getting Poisoned by one sushi restaurant while the other one just gave poor service and did not quite have the rolling of the rice sorted is two different things. It could be a good idea to go back to the first one to see for yourself if they improved.

Not sure about Asia, but here in the USA, a Tesla is still the all-around best EV for 99% of people that can buy a new car. I’ve been watching your channel for about 4 years and I think most of your gripes with Tesla are for the most part better and basically any OEM can give you a crappy car these days. 4 years of tesla ownership and 80k miles driven on a model S raven. It’s still the best car I have ever owned by far after 30 years of owning many different ones.

Dude!! I always tell you this.. there was a video that you did a few months ago and you asked if anyone could guess which country your thinking about moving to, and I GUESSED THAILAND. You never responded… I don’t think… anyways I love giving you sh*t my friend . Dude I CANNOT WAIT to see your footage from there and your experience. Im so excited for you! And EV’s…. BYD??, xPeng I think is the name of another awesome ev! Also
I wanna see what u say to VW upon your early return ! There’s nothing worse than being disappointed by a brand you believe in.

Alex, if you’re going to Thailand, choose a car which is waterproofed is much needed imo.

When you get to Thailand, you should look up the Electric Viking and maybe do a video.

What'd Tesla do to you? I missed that, whatever it was. I'd like to know because I have friends who are looking at Teslas.

Any EV that is not a Tesla is a compromise on most every metric. Alex will piss away a lot of money on cars trying to find out which one is the second best.

My wifes family is in Chon Buri, and my brother lives outside of Bangkok, it's one of my dreams to move there when our girl gets out of college.

I just took delivery in Thailand of my Tesla model 3 dual motor long range. But value for money the BYD Atto 3 looks pretty impressive. BYD setting up operations in Thailand in a very professional manner. (much better than Tesla). Be sure you arrange the proper long term visa for Thailand and keep an open mind and you'll hopefully embrace this culture and enjoy it. Youtubing in Thailand is another issue and bank accounts need to be appropriately set up etc. I trust you're getting good guidance on those points etc etc.

KIA Niro EV? Or in Thailand, you will have access to NIO, BYD, Xpeng, and so on.

I would wait until you get to Thailand. How long do you think you would be staying there?

what happening in Thailand? A number of YouTubers have moved there this year

I would be shocked if you didn't get a NIO. One thing that you and Sandy Munro still seem to agree on is the Chinese auto makers are ahead of all other non-Teslas.

You are going to have to meet up with Bjron Nyland in his regular yearly 3 month visit during the frosty season in Norway! Good luck on EV hunting, sounds like a new hit movie!

Looking forward to see you in a BYD Atto 3

Number one transportation choice in Thailand is the Rickshaw electric vehicle. Oh, Raw Fish is not USDA graded for food safety in Thailand.. Enjoy both !

know they used to sponsor you or something. Not sure of any politics behind the scenes.

i have yet to hear of ANY other EV with customer support and product reliability that can match Tesla. If Tesla doesn't match your standards, then be prepared to be continuously disappointed, perennially frustrated and never satisfied.
