I went back to community college in my 30s and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I transferred to one of the best universities in the world and met some great people. Sure, I felt out of place at times but I got over it. Sometimes I miss it.

I always tell older adults who are interested in going back to college but don't know what they want, I recommend that they just take one class at a time and slowly knock out the general ed.

I always enjoyed having older students in the classroom. They bring more diversity to the classroom. I brought my home in my 20s and completed career diplomas but now in my 30s I’m more settled to study for a degree.

I dropped out of high school 20 years ago it took me this long to realize how important education actually is I’m 38 now and I’m almost finished with my GED and I’m thinking about getting a computer science degree for software engineering. It gets old working dead-end jobs that don’t respect me

I’m 43….Watching your channel inspired me to go back to achieve my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Excel track from Purdue University Global ). I already have a couple of trade school cosmetology licenses.And an Associates Degree in Funeral Service ( followed by a funeral director’s license). You inspired me to just go ahead and hack a bachelor’s degree. I appreciate your channel… it’s never too late 💫🙏🏼

I am 41… I left school before completing my degree and I make the same as other people working in a similar field with an undergraduate degree…. Currently I find it temping to return back to school because I am interested in getting a professional degree (law, medicine etc) that’s the only way I personally can justify returning because otherwise I won’t find much economic benefit to get just an undergraduate degree and make THE SAME as I am making today.

I'm in my mid 40's and I already make 6 figures. Would it be helpful (or even make sense) to finish my degree at this point? Would it be a waste of time or would I potentially see an income increase?

I work 14 hour days so I would likely only be able to take one class at a time or cleps. I might be 50 by the time I finish my degree.

Would it really be helpful in the grand scheme of things?
