Definitely depends on the degree!! There are so many degrees (typically STEM), where you can easily get to a $100, 000 salary, and more importantly, have much more enjoyable daily work. Usually the schooling is the hardest part and many people struggle with it, but if you get through then life becomes very comfortable. Still need to have an interest in the field though, don't go for a degree just cuz the jobs pay a lot

It's simply too expensive. We've seen our parents and peers struggle with student loans and volatile job markets. It doesn't make sense to go into 40, 50, 60k+ in debt to MAYBE get a job that barely pays the bills. If the cost was lower it would make more sense, but the ROI doesn't seem to be a good value anymore.

Waste of time. Employers could care less about higher education, Most learning can be done online. College is mainly to create relationships and experience. Unless your going to the Military with it. Don’t waste your time. Coming from a College graduate
