Another way to transform from axe to sword mode is to swipe up after tapping once, it will quickly do a down slash without the long animation

Thank you for making this guide! The switch axe has seemed fun, but I hadn't quite been able to figure out its mechanics yet. I still need to figure out a build for these things, because I'm not sure if quick morph is worth it. I also wonder if phial elemental power boosts are multiplied by critical element.
