As a European, I can only say the electoral system in the USA is idiotic.
All journalists say a few hundred thousand votes in mostly 7 states, or perhaps only the result from Pennsylvania decides who becomes president.
As in 2016, when Hilary Clinten had millions more votes, Trump became president. As I said, it's not understandable when a few states decide on the presidency and millions of votes are worthless.

I know Luntz was trying to be balanced here, but Harris does not have any personal quirks that turn off male voters, she's not a man's "first wife". If my ex-wife had her positive energy and laughs, maybe we'd still be together right now. Male voters shun her not because any of her personal traits.

It boils down to the fact that a large portion of the male population is still uncomfortable with a female leader. They feel like their masculinity is in question when a woman is making the rules for them. When Trump called Harris "dumb" without even attempting to offer any evidence, he's trying to exert irrational control over his opponent. Trump is basically saying "I'm the alpha, I don't need to explain myself to anyone. You'll get crushed if you challenge me." It's this type of rhetoric that actually resonates with a lot of American males today. You won't hear them coming on TV for interviews, but they will vote for Trump comes November.
