They were sending people to France for hip replacements when I was nursing in Kent in 2002. They forgot to factor in rehab though, and there was a fortune spent on opening wards in Folkstone. Why do we allow people who wouldn't know a patient if they fell over one to spend money in healthcare? Managing a brewery isn't a qualification that transfers to dealing with peoples lives. Patients are not part of a production line. 😠

Maybe if they used the money they would pay to private sector to buy another mobile MRI for each hospital in the country they wouldn’t need to use the private sector and still resolve the issue.

This is the start the businessmen want to happen, this is the start of private healthcare and the end of the NHS in the UK. Businessmen like Rishi Sunak only sea business dollars and want to see the privatisation of the NHS. A better option would be for the government to shut down the offshore banking system, the recovery of revenue from tax evasion would fund the NHS 5 times over every year and lower the retirement age to 50.
