One of my male classmates was complaining about puberty and saying how bad it was, I could see how many of the girls were looking at him with pure disgust because he was completely oblivious to what they went through, I felt bad for him because I knew he didn’t know better, so after school I went up to him and asked him if he’d like to learn the basics of what girls went through during puberty.

He seemed really open about it, like he was actually interested in knowing.

So I told him the basics, he was very surprised! I never heard him complain again and he actually apologized to the girls for “so being closed minded” the girls said it was fine and that it’s ok because he didn’t know, whenever he heard the other boys complaining how bad it was for them he always lectured them on what girls went through.

He’s one of my best friends now, and although I don’t think he really needed to lecture all those boys, it was a really sweet gesture!

like two years ago two of the boys in me and my friends class heard us talking ab how annoying puberty was for us, so they joined the conversation talking about voice changing and the most minor things ever. so obviously my and my friend start telling them about how much we have to go through with puberty and they still tried to tell us they had it worse even though the one thing they could think or to complain about was voice changes when we couldn’t even list everything that happened to us. we were in the cafeteria so i’m suprised the teachers didn’t hear us lmao.
