Can I make my LinkedIn Profile only visible to specific people on LinkedIn?

The question was in regards to only allowing recruiters or hiring managers to see the LinkedIn Profile.

I think the thing is that people searching for jobs don't want their current employer to be aware of that and see that they are actively looking from their status on LinkedIn.

2:13 -- sometimes there is unhealthy competition in college and classmates judge/mock us and THUS, to protect ourselves from them, it might help if we could make it only visible to recruiters. anyways, thanks for letting know, that this feature is currently not available on LinkedIn.

There are jealous people who want to monitor your progress and compare themselves to others. I only want my profile to be visible to my approved followers, otherwise I will be deactivating my LinkedIn

Sister had a stalker. Because LinkedIn does not allow privacy to connections and connections only, she can not use the platform. This feature sucks

I dont want family members to see where Im at in life. Sometimes due to personal reason I dont wanna tell them where I work but then they see it on linked in.

A stalking ex is the worst, especially when you don't want them to know anything that could help them stalk you. Not having a recruiter only feature sucks but oh well

Some people have 2 jobs and don’t want either of the employers to know about it. I think it will be great to keep certain info privately

So can I just show my potential employer my resume through the LinkedIn and still keep the information private like my resume and my personal address and so on I am new to this and I think it’s a really bad idea to just allow anyone and everyone to see your personal information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
