Well with a reported vertical of 48" which is 4 feet and MJ being listed as 6'6" with shoes . I have never seen his head 6" above the rim . Now maybe with no ball and just simply jumping he may have got his head above rim but ive never seen it . There are photos where it appears hus head is above but that due to camera angle . I would put his vert at 44"
