48x64 POST FRAME COST BREAKDOWN!

How much does a pole barn cost now a days? We had no idea how much this barn cost until we added up everything at the end. Thankfully we did everything ourselves, or this would've cost more than most houses. Hopefully if you're planning on building something, the prices have gone down by now or you find a way to do it more affordably like we did. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to see this epic house build this summer!

It's unbelievable what it costs to build today opposed to just 2 years ago. Glad we built when we did, but we still have more infrastructure to put in on our farm. It's hard to write these checks, but what else can you do?

I don't know if it's the algorithm or a crazy coincidence, but I googled 48x64 barn, this video popped up. As I started watching it, I saw the plate frame on the Explorer, I'm not a stalker, I just always look at plate frames because I work @ Varsity Ford. Thanks for the info, I'm going to start my barn in Chelsea this summer.

Even doing it yourself that’s a Yikes price, but it does look amazing. Keep up the good work, enjoying the videos.

There must be a lot of profit in concrete. We’re waiting for you to do some interior videos of your barn to get ideas. We had a 40x56x16 build this summer and it cost a lot but we’re going to save money by doing the interior ourselves. Until then we’re just buying lumber since the prices have come down.

Looks great! We’re in Dallas Texas looking to do the same. Would you happen to have any recommendations for this build similar in Dallas area?

I didn't see the inside but I guessed before the video started.. $160K on the low side considering bringing in utils. Since you saved on the slab that sounds about right. I'm guessing you chose 48x64 dim to avoid unnecessary splicing?

do you think the cost are lower now if I was to build one thanks

Did you have a loan for this? What kind of loan is needed especially to do some of it yourself?? Hard to find a flexible lender

I just got my quote last week for a 64' x 50' and are insane. But gotta have it right? Out of curiosity, where in MI?

KO.

That price paying someone else to build it would have been significantly higher. Most of the big costs came from what you couldn't do yourself. It sure looks good tho.

Just to buy land where I live it’s minimum $100k for over 5-10 acres

How much land did you guys buy? From what I’ve heard you have to own the land to build not financed?

Good to the point video. We had about the same cost. We built our 40x60x14 shop with a 480sf apartment in 2022 and finished just before Christmas for about $140k. Even though the apartment is small it's really nice to be out of our RV and have a real bathroom. Prices have come down on lumber and we just bought our lumber for the main Barndo/house for half the cost of what it would have cost us last summer. We start building in a few weeks.

Do you take a loan out or is it just out of pocket? Can you finance a barn?

The split-screen, while possibly technologically clever, was annoying and distracting.
