Two related questions: If falsified and corroborated hypotheses were on a scale, how heavy would the batch of falsified hypotheses have to be to throw out the whole set of related hypotheses? If the hypotheses proposed reflect a set of underlying assumptions and are not confirmed again and again, at what point do you consider changing these assumptions?
