If The Titanic was just a little bit longer and featured another anti-sinking compartment, the ship would've survived. Given the length of this one, a tiny scrape like this would do absolutely nothing to it.

This ship would have like 60-70 water-tight compartments and the animation shows the boat hitting in much the same way as did Titanic, the 7 ruptured compartments would be off-set by the massive counter-weight of the extremely long vessel behind it and would therefore continue on perfectly alright. Obviously the structure would have to be built from Adamantium to hold the intense pressures exhumed by such a vessel
