Thursday's move by the Kenyan parliament may have set off a wave across the African continent over the issue of the relevance of the Rome Statute that set up the international criminal court. Uganda has reportedly expressed interest to follow in Kenya's footsteps by contemplating a similar motion in its parliament. Majority leader Aden Duale says he will be making a visit to Kampala next week to share the Kenyan journey with legislators there. This as South Africa said it was keenly following the unfolding state of affairs in Kenya. Sylvia Chebet now reports

You cannot say that people like Kony ni kuonewa. Over 100 people have been killed in Kenya and someone has to be held accountable.

My problem with those who support the ICC is that they don't see any crimes committed by the western countries. AMA those who die of drone attacks or those who were gased by the Syrian rebels are not human. Yes Kony is as guilty as those who killed 10s of thousands of Iraqis in the name of human rights. A crime is a crime whether committed by Kenyatta or Obama. Nkt!
