I think the fact that this show is taking a slow-burn approach is going to make it so much more satisfying when Matt actually suits up. The Kingpin is pushing extremely hard, and eventually he’ll push too hard, and it’ll bring out the devil

People need to wait and relax matt is slowly coming back to being daredevil aka born again you can through this episode it's making Matt look strong as the attorney and by him telling Hector you don't have to be the vigilante anymore feels good or something like that but just wait the show is gonna blow you away

I think people are used to the binge model with the netflix show. It made the slow burn more palatable. If the original netflix show was released week to week, I'm not sure it would have gone over well.

The episode really drilled the idea in your head that Hector can't help but be the (hero) person he is. Seems to me going back out that night is pretty consistent with that to me.

Boba you’re so right White Tigers death should have had a little more too it. He should have been in the middle of saving the screaming women and find out last second it was a setup. His death felt very Disney +

It would have been nice to see some flashes of the White Tiger saves while the witnesses were telling their stories. However, it was still a really good episode. I enjoy the courtroom drama. I agree with you, there really did need to be a nice balance for DD and Murdock. It's what was missing in The Batman. I like seeing the two identities of the heroes having their own plot lines.

I personally thought the court case scenes were great! I was hooked on all of it! The ending got me but I agree with you, I feel like it was too easy and the writing could have been better there

I don't think that it was Fisk who ordered to kill Hector. I had an impression that the punisher gang is a separate thing, or i am wrong. (yes, I cried after Hector T_T)

Thanks for your review. I appreciate something more considered over fan-boy whining that they didn't get a beat down. I've always loved the Matt Murdock parts of Daredevil best, and while the fight scenes are fun and necessary to the character, just focusing on them is boring. If you don't care about Matt and his problems, what kind of stakes are the fights going to have?

That said, I did find this episode a little slow. I know nothing about White Tiger, but he seems sort-of important to the comics, and the storyline here didn't give him much. It came across as "Here's this important, amazing vigilante, and oops, he's dead now. Oh well."

These slower episodes in the Netflix series were fleshed out with Foggy and Karen, but now that they're gone, I think the series needs to spend some time on Cherry and Kirsten to make us care about them. And whatshername, Matt's new love interest as well.

As I said, good job on the review. It brought out some aspects of this episode I didn't pick up on. I'm looking forward to when you can get back to it. Have a happy honeymoon!

As quite a big fan of the bendis run on daredevil I have no problem with focusing on Matt Murdock the lawyer for a whole episode. Especially an episode like this since the white tiger trial is part of that run.
