Factoring Trinomials Leading Coefficient Not 1 (Learn Algebra 2)

Learn how to factor trinomials when the leading coefficient does not equal 1. We discuss the guess and check method (trial and error) as well as the ac method and splitting the middle term and factoring by grouping. We also discuss how to solve equations using the zero product property once you've factored the trinomial. Lastly, we use factoring to find the zeros given a quadratic trinomial function.
