Enemies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are using the term "Christianity" to describe themselves. This is true of a number of false churches, including the one called "Calvinism". In this video teaching, I once again talk about the heretical teachings of John Calvin (a man who lived in the 1500s) that oppose the truths in God's Word, the Holy Bible, regarding Salvation in Jesus Christ - THE GOSPEL, meaning "good news".

John 3:17 - "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Hello James wow this is the second time I'm commenting on your channel on the same day I just subscribed to your channel as well. You really
made your point
very clear as it says in God's word. two thumbs up James. I stay clear of the whole calvinist debate .
I find sticking to the good news of what Christ did on that cross for everyone is really what matters. Mentioning Calvinism with new believers is just mudding the waters. I don't go there when I'm witnessing to others.

Hi James,

I find it interesting that John Wesley, an Anglican and founder of Methodism, spoke out against Calvinism and instead supported a modified version of Arminianism. Yet, he never renounced his membership in the Anglican Church of England, that held to reformed, Calvinistic” view of soteriology. The Methodist statement of faith, is merely the 39 Articles with “Arminianism” and personal experience substituted for “Calvinism”.

Of course today’s United Methodist Church, in becoming extremely liberal/progressive, has fallen into a severe state of apostasy. When the authority of the Bible is refuted, man’s will overrides God’s will.

Pelagianism, semi-Pelagianism, Lutheranism, Calvinism, Arminianism, Molenism, Wesleyanism, Traditionalism, Provisionism are some of the many soteriology belief systems. Most of these beliefs regarding salvation are synergistic and require works to bring about salvation (not of works lest any man should boast). Man must perform works pleasing to God and/or must choose to believe before God applies His salvific Grace. Nothing the unregenerate man does is pleasing to God (filthy rags). Even the act of choosing to believe gives one man a reason to boast of his salvation over the man who choose not to believe. The unregenerate man does not seek God (no not one). Sinners have nothing to offer God, only their wretched sin. All aspects of salvation are therefore monergistic; God does all the work to save sinners. By God’s free gift of grace we are saved, born anew with a heart of flesh to replace our heart of stone, the Holy Ghost/Spirit indwells us, and we believe and have faith. Those who believe in monergistic salvation, also believe in election and predestination. Those not elected to salvation are left to exercise their free will.

Most people don’t like Calvin’s teachings because they want to be in charge (vice God), to exercise their free will (vice God’s will), and are influenced by modern thinking and philosophy. It is impossible for the finite creature to understand the infinite Creator.

Have a blessed day and I hope you will continue in your soteriology studies.

You look at Calvinism at face value, it's kind of hard to walk away with it being nothing more than the select religion of the self elected ethnic purest of the day... and that spirit is exactly the same people that kind of carry it over to this day, which is the affirmation by the way.

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Galatians 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

It doesn't matter since none of it is true anyway.
