C is common to both fossil fuel and nuclear production. Steam is produced by the heating of water (through the burning of fossil fuel, or nuclear fission) and spins the turbine which then sends the energy to a generator. A is only found in nuclear electricity production, it is nuclear fission, cool water surrounds the core, where the nuclear fission is happening, and through heat, the water turns into steam.

4:44: If the cooling tower condenses steam back into liquid water, why does it give off water vapor (ie steam)?
