Man my mom's in the hospital for lung cancer she had for 5 years. I think it's her time to go. And when Zach said "you were fighting so hard and my hand in your hard I knew I had to be a man from that night on." That really got to me because I'm 16 years old and I spent the night with my mom in the hospital last night. Those lyrics hit too close to home. Iv cried so much. 🙏🙏Get better momma

I'm a 43 year old good ol boy life long TEXAN. Damn Zach you had to have known my wife and myself. You see my beloved wife died in my arms on March 16 2017 which absolutely devastated me in ways I never knew possible. This song is one of my favorite healing songs. My wife Heather and I would everyday sit on our back porch and watch the sunset, which in the panhandle of Texas we get some that are utterly beautiful. Now everytime I see one of our beautiful sunsets, that is my sweet Heather just telling me that she's alright. Zach everytime you do a love song about a man and a woman it really sounds like you are writing about Heather and myself, there is no way around it you had to have known us and the very rare type of love we shared. You've single handedly helped mend my shattered heart that came from her death. THANK YOU a thousand times over AND NEVER EVER STOP PLAYING YOU'RE MUSIC, PS please come play Amarillo

God bless your soul! Your mother raised one hell of a man and one damn good country singer! Thank you for sharing this and every beautiful song and moment you have been able to share with us, Zach. Your music helps a lot of people through all sorts of trouble in this life. We can't thank you enough.

I just lost my husband at 36yrs old on 7/9/23 in a tragic ATV accident. We live on a 200 acre ranch in NB TX. When Zack sings, “so look up tonight the moon she’s shining” gets me every time 💔

I just lost my best friend….. she always asked why I wouldn’t always answer, in secret it was so I could have a pile of her voicemails so when this day came I could ALWAYS hear her voice again!!! I’m smiling as I wipe away that lonely tear of joy. Thanks man…

I've been listening to this album since it dropped on Friday. The part where it transitions to "so look up tonight" still gives me goosebumps every time. Very powerful song. Great album.

I lost my dad three weeks ago. I'm 33, old enough to have a long list of memories with him but young enough to feel sorrow over all the years left I have to live without him. I miss you dad, so much that it hurts. I'm finding comfort in music, just as you always did.

I want yaw to know that God along with Zack Bryan’s music a saved my life. Six months ago around Christmas I was ready to end it! I was tired, souls worn thin. I had reached the end of my rope, literally and figuratively. I had never heard of Zach Bryan until six months ago.. the first song I heard was pink skies, needless to say it brought me to tears. His songs and music has really helped me to get through some trying times and I appreciate it .. Listen I know it’s a lot of people after going through a lot of things that are real bad right now, but it’s gonna be OK.. I know you might not seem like it right now, but I promise you it’s gonna be OK. Just take a deep breath and make it through today and then tomorrow will worry about it when it gets here. I just want praise God and thank him, and send a shout out to Zach Bryan! Love your music man! Salute 🫡

I'm 29. I remember the first time I heard this song. My mother passed away in August of 19' from breast cancer. I'm a Navy veteran that disregarded this part of my life as she was passing, as there were so many conflicts between my mama and I at the time. Moving forward 5 years, I remember the last moments with her, I remember the last words I ever said to her, I remember what she said to me. Death is the most human thing about being human, the existential reminder that time ticks, and every day that we live, is just another chance to embrace the fact that the beautiful moments are unpaid for. Every interaction is a fleeting moment that most of us only realize retrospectively. Zach is famous because he connects with what makes us human...

Be a year next month since my mom passed. Haven't been able to cry about it much. Thank you for the happy tears tonight.

I lost my grandmother last week and I was with her the whole time. I held her hand as she took her last breath. Cancer is a bitch but she’s with me tonight.

I always listen when I'm missing my little Momma. I had my head in her hands and my head laying on her heart when I lost her. I miss her every day. I change your words around a little, but it always hits me so hard. That voicemail is priceless!
