When I was a kid, one of our neighbors had a cat who gave birth to some kittens. One of them wandered across the street to our house, and we just loved her so much. The neighbors decided to let us keep her, but the mother would come by once in a while to check on her.

I've done this exact same thing, but it was over a year apart! But they Absolutely knew each other, and they loved seeing each other again! It was instant purring and playing together! Alongside their only brother, who stayed with Momma. It was the absolute CUTEST thing ever!! 😻

I mean, my cats are mother and daughter that were never separated and they throw hands daily. When they arent cuddling and grooming each other that is.

We adopted puppies a couple weeks apart and when they saw each other again they immediately recognized each other, wish it worked that way for cats!
