I have this mini PC running on Batocera and I found PS2, PSP and Wii games running quite well.

I managed to get both Mario Kart Wii and 8 run full speed on an N100. You'll need to update the iGPU drivers, use the latest official versions of Dolphin and cemu, set the Windows power plan to "Performance", and the desktop resolution to 720p.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe runs mostly fullspeed at 540p with Yuzu, with some occasional crashing though. I was shocked it ran the game this well. This little machine has exceeded my expectations. It's much more powerful than a Raspberry Pi 4, which struggles to run even Gamecube games.

I think you should say what resolution you are running the games at. That helps alot on determining if it’s worth it to me. Running a game a native is a big difference from something like 1080p

It should be a bit of buyer beware with this one, I have heard reports from both reviews and at least one youtuber who got a unit that died within a short period of purchase and had to exchange it. Apparently they didn't have much trouble exchanging it, but still keep in mind you might be getting what you pay for and if you're getting the cheapest option don't depend on it too heavily.

I've been considering this one recently due to the price, I only had a few uses in mind as a secondary computer, maybe a media pc and/or a server. Thing is that most things run just fine on my main pc and I don't often have /need/ of a server or a media/emulation pc, I think I was just trying to come up some justification for something that's basically a new toy to play with. I saw some refurbished pcs that were roughly around the same price that potentially have a more powerful cpu(though less good on power draw perhaps) and some can hold much more memory that'd actually be dual channel. I have to admit even hearing about the problems it's still a mighty tempting machine for the price.

I have the GTR7 Pro. Works great with Gamecube and PS3. Twisted Metal worked fine, no problems. 
It works great for Gamecube.
My reason for buying....I wanted to have PC gaming.
It's perfect for my needs.

Not bad for the price. Pretty good starter pc for emulation though i prefer the mele quieter 3C or 3Q which has the older and slower n5105 as I got better results for PS2 emulation. Another cool honest video my friend❤

That’s a decent system for emulation but not decent for anything steam related or proper pc gaming. If you’re gonna go that route you’re likely better with a raspberry pi 3 or even a Mister for accuracy. My two cents. Mister will cost you but my god the experience is night and day from anything I’ve emulated.

I´m thinking of getting one of those Mini PC with an Alder Lake N95 for games up to PS1, not more, and that CPU should be more than fine for that. My main must do will be PS1 Crash Team Racing 4 player Splitscreen at 1080p and higher res.

You used batocera to test the emulators right?
What resolution did you use on the Wii and Gamecube games?

If you nuked Windows 11 and installed Batocera Linux some of the emulation should run better.

Look, it wasn’t long ago we had raspberry Pi 3 not being able to run all N64 games. Give it another 10 years and you’ll emulate PS3 and WII U.

I use a Raspberry Pi 3 for my old games . I have original hardware too.
