I use a similar one as an emulation box for older and arcade games. These are pretty reliable workhorses if you don't mind the sff form factor and limited expansion.

This is a great example of putting something into perspective when comparing to some of the newer and smaller tech. If this showed Doom Eternal and Spider-Man were examples of performance then give it to me every day as it looked just fine to me. The only 2 things that will come into consideration for not buying is the size and power consumption. I'm impressed for how old it is and how much was paid. At some point it would be interesting to see just how cheaply something like this can be built that would be ETA approved for general use. I suffer from the same Xmas time colds and flu and discovered that it is due to the body going from daily stressed to a sudden drop because of the relaxation at holiday time. Glenlivet is your friend for such an occasion for evening relief.

Been a watcher for awhile and love your videos. Inspired me to build a PC on a budget. Managed to get a Dell Optiplex 5050 SFF with a i7-7700 (4 cores, 8 threads) with 16gb ram, 500gb SSD, 1TB HDD, a monitor, keyboard and mouse for $160 from a e-recycling location. Purchased a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX6400 LP for $165. Sourced a 240w PSU from a 3050 SFF on eBay for $32 (mine had a 180w PSU.) I could’ve stopped there but I wanted to stream/record my switch for SSBU and got a refurbished ElGato 4K60 Pro Mk.2 for $185. All in a it’s decent 1080p gaming and streaming machine for a little over $500

I built a similar configuration (16GB RAM/512GB SSD) using an OptiPlex 7010 and that same GT 1030. It's a solid Win10 Pro machine and runs many of my old Steam games.
