Definitely need to get one of these setups. Missed out on GameCube generation.

These make fantastic TV boxes for both emulation, game streaming and streaming media. Once I fell out of love with my Nvidia Shield Pro a year ago. I switched to mini PC's like this, and can never look back.

I love these emulation videos. Keep em coming. I made my own 8tb big bix build and it wasnt hard at all

Completely agree. I started working on a nice lil batocera build for myself. Its a more work getting it all setup but it’s engaging going thru the process. And satisfying when u get rom collection setup perfectly for the emulator u want and then adding the next collection. I would say it’s analogous to fast food vs a nice home cooked meal. Sure u could eat junk but that home cook meal will leave u satisfied!

Thanks for showing this. Affordable PC and a curated build. Nice.

I bought that same model of PC a few months ago to just have something with Windows 11 that I can play around with as for IT matters. It's a good little PC.
I'll have to check out the emulation software and try it out.

That PC you used looks pretty decent. I don't like the Ryzen stuff much, so this Intel Alder Lake got my attention real quick. Ordered one and started the Coin-Ops download. Thank you!!

Nice. I've always found building your own emulation setup is the only way to go. As none of the prebuilt setups impress me. I am currently using an old i7-3770 computer, GTX 1060 6GB, 16gb ram, 8tb hdd, and batocera for my emulation setup. Plays everything up to PS2 and Xbox. Including around 71% of the playable PS3 retail and PSN games.

I found a PC in a neighbor’s recycle bin, saved it, and refurbed it. All I paid for was a new power supply and RAM.

I bought a Lenovo mini pc a couple years ago for my bar top. I love it because of the small factor of it. I just recently hooked it up to my 20 inch CRT tv. I’m running a Raspberry pi in the arcade now.

Appreciate your honesty as always and its good to get a break from the other devices and CoinOps is seriously next level and so many variants :)

I thought your previous video was pretty clear, man. People freak out way too quick. Reminds me of kids when they look in one place for their toy and then give up and say they can't find it. This stuff isn't at all mystical or hard, but people really want to act like we're just nerds or gatekeeping. No, we're warning against overspending for trash that is of poor quality and a shiddy experience at best, and even worse might have malicious software included. I appreciate you going out of your way to show this stuff in a normie-friendly way. Yeah PC channels do like to give the impression that a $1000 build is a "cheap budget gaming setup" and that's probably where the people start freaking out. I hate that side of the whole PC thing. A ton of fun can be had for so much cheaper.

Can't beat a free build like that, I'm in? I'm older, like you, and can appreciate something like this? Everyone wants a one and done setup? Not me? I don't like cheap mini anything? Great job, sir, thanks.

You can use any 60usd old SFF desktop (hp, dell, fujistu, lenovo) It will still be way more powerful than any raspberry pi that will run the same image flawlessly. And for 60 bucks, you will get your 8 Go of RAM but not with a 60usd Pi. lol

What I took away from this video is that you got Oldboy from Arrow Video. Respect.
