There are 16 armor trim smithing templates and one netherite upgrate smithing template added to minecraft 1.20. These new items can be found in various different structures around your world, including the new trail ruins structure. The smithing templates be combined with a material and your armor in a smiting table to add armour trims to your armor sets! The netherite upgrade smithing template is used to upgrade your armor from diamond to netherite! The different smithing templates are:
Pillager Outpost - Sentry
Desert Pyramid - Dune
Shipwreck - Coast
Jungle Temple - Wild
Ocean Monument - Tide
Ancient City - Ward & Silence
Woodland Mansion - Vex
Nether Fortress - Rib
Bastion Remnant - Snout & Netherite Upgrade
Stronghold - Eye
End City - Spire
Trail Ruins - Wayfinder, Shaper, Host & Raiser

I got the silence trim in deep dark (i almost died trying to get it)

I have an older world, elder guardians does not drop template, tested it on a backup of my world in creative, killed 1000+ with commands none dropped it. Maybe this helps someone, weird bug
