FL Studio: Freezing V2.0

This is a little idea I had to simulate after consolidating tracks how other DAWs unload plugins after freezing to not only reduce CPU but RAM and loading times of projects...

People do not understand how flexible FL Studio is. Infinite possibilities. The folks in the industry who still bash on it are way out of touch.

This is a great insight and collection of smart procedures. I'm already using Surface Control for playing live my effects, but using it for automation should be alot more easier. If the Surface page interface would be further developed for ease of use it could be adopted from alot more users (like the no-brainer Alt-drag to duplicate stuff and being able to copy/paste). But even more, I think FLS should have a default Macro feature always on, being it in Patcher or even outside, like a project-level Macro tab of some kind.

Rather than deleting the instruments and FX in patcher can you just load a empty default preset in patcher ! Or will you loose the connections to the playlist automation when reloading your saved patcher preset.

But then when you did it, the sound stops working? If I wanna save cpu and ram usage with this method, do I freeze the track first?

can't you just disconnected the blue input connection inside patcher to disable the chain ?
