I tried to get a job as a rambling moron on TV. All the positions were taken.

After years of messaging that men are bad, this does not seem like a surprising consequence.

Recreational use of drugs is going to dumb-down and inhibit the motivation of some long-term unemployed people.

I lived through this. Got laid off in November - I worked hard and got lucky and finally found a job after 216 days. It's really tough but not impossible put there - stay strong everyone!

It will take them 20 years to save for a downpayment for a house. Most women are all fighting to date what they consider the top 5% of men.
Honestly, I can't blame them not wanting to work for a system that has nothing to offer them.

Well isn't this the gynocentric matriarchal society the people wanted?

Why is this Julia woman so smug and nonchalant about this issue? She seems to mock the unemployables.

Life has been made so difficult for young men that they've given up. Why marry and buy a home when that just makes you a slave to debt and to the bills for children half of you will not get to raise or know past their early years?

Laying the grounds for a defence of a weak economy and the "need" for millions of delivery and fast food workers.

It'd be nice if the media would talk to some of these young men, as opposed to talking about them from an outside perspective...

the issue is due to the following
1. Today's generation are opting out of labor forces as some move to other careers
2. jobs aren't hiring and rather are retaining workers, thus folks can't get jobs.

Most either risk being unemployable or accepting underemployment that will have them work until they're an old person under the basis

Education has failed starting 35 years ago. They tried to blame the changes with technology, but it was their responsibility to be on top of it, and employ teachers who have the skills to teach, not have the grades and pass the interview and tests. Now this age group will suffer their entire lives.

yea life is just difficult, its not... super unreasonable to want to take a breather instead of constantly trying to meet unrealistic expectations.

Young people want a cozy job in 'business'. But we don't need them.

I wonder what the best opportunities to invest now are, there are opinions but a little later I find out these opinions don't matter as a totally different turn of events play out with the stocks they discussed therein...
