In my opinion just remove them when free fear removal is active so you will lose no silver but also gain some. So for me at least I would never destroy any artifact, I just lose silver.

If you have a free gear removal, go to your artifacts and search by new and clear it all so there is no red dot on "just new". Put the champion you want to remove gear from in the reserve vault and remove all the gear for free. Go to artifacts and search by new, sell all new removed gear for free. Get free silver.

Loved the video but wanted to let you know you can make silve instead of destroying it.

Perfect scrambled eggs (if you like them this way 😂)
In a medium sized cold saucepan i add three eggs, a dash of milk and good size knob of butter (proper English stuff) and put on low heat-2/3 minutes later and stating to gently bubble I gently break yolks and even gentler mix round a few times.
4-5 minutes one edge of pan on heat I gently “scrape” any scramble eggs (with a felexible spatula/utensil) that start to form on bottom of pan then rotate to opposite side of pan and repeat process for a few minutes
6/7 minutes eggs are nicely scrambled and you can tell yolk from white and now cooking until desired “dryness”
10 minutes Add sat/pepper and eat ✌️

Ash! I work in the toy industry. Do you think the Raid Community would support a Raid toy line that’s adult and collector focused? Maybe with a legendary that could only be pulled with the toy?

I have an artefact tip. Don't destroy gear, use a 1 or 3 hour FGR token and go around and remove, for free, all the gear you want to sell and make silver as well. Do that every couple of months and you will keep trimming outdated gear and make a bit of silver too. Then you can mule the 2nd rate gear that you have stored onto those same mules and free up space too. It's a matter of managing your account in the same way you manage your home when it comes to chores. Have a routine that works for you and utilize it to maximise your play time for longer by doing a bit of maintenance before it piles up and overwhelms you.

Two things as a free to play player I wish I realized sooner.
A. During the gear removal events you can sell gear directly off of a champion so following Ash’s suggestion for destroy gear during the event saves a lot of time removing just to find and sell again.
B. Hell Hades gear optimizer usually runs the gear quality feature for free on the free subscription level account. Hugely helpful for weeding out old gear.

Also, since you're not F2P you don't understand how insanely hard it is to get 9 pc sets without spending quite a bit.
I get a lot of 6pc SS and Prot sets but the rings are uber hard to get in Hydra Wars and I have a pretty good clan, but other clans always seem to have Mega Billions exploit teams.
And then Pinpoint stuff that dropped for me at stage 30 was mostly trash, way worse than other dungeons.
And forget about Forge Pass P2W garbo, as FTP it's just junk scraps. I still can't make a single bolster set as a daily player who finishes every FP as F2P since it was released!

Artifact tip: put your borderline gear on your meh champs. It will free up more inventory space for your better gear. If you need to steal the gear from these champs or regear later, u can always use the free 1hr gear you earn. Most likely, you will never end up using the gear and/or champ but you have it in case you need it.

If you are doing faction wars still I would say don't destroy or sell the gear as you can use it on champions that you won't use anywhere else but just for faction wars to get your stars.
That triple acc speed piece normally you would sell, but 40-50 extra acc on say a Criodan (useful champ but as an example) could be the difference between passing a wave or wiping.
It could also be useful for Doom tower rooms/cursed city with hard restrictions and you're forced into using champions you'd never use elsewhere.
I think destroying the gear would be more for end game/spenders when you have lots of silver and can move your best pieces around often when required.

lol, I totally spent about 2 hrs this morning doing this. Seriously needed it, free'd up around 12mil silver....and I feel a whole lot better to just be able to add more quality gear. As always, love the content and appreciate all your hard work! 👍
